Growing up, you learn things change for better or worse. You learn to move on and accept new challenges and to work toward your future. Sometimes you have to face hardships to get where you wanna be. Life throws you curve balls and you may not even expect it. Sometimes I wonder if I'm going in the right direction and making the right decisions. I can't ever seem to make up my mind, whether this is where I wanna be or whether this is what I want to be doing.

In high school, things seemed easier, you get up, go to school, go to activities after school, clubs or sports, then maybe hangout with your friends. It all seemed so simple just working towards going to college, enjoying every minute. Then you start growing up, realizing you have to decide what college you want to go to or if you want to go into the working field, what you wanna be, if you really wanna be that and where you want to one day live. It all doesn't seem like much but when it comes down to it, its all life changing. It a big part of a person's life, its like a new chapter or exciting journey. It takes trying and failing to get where you wanna be. At least for me I know it has and will. I do know that I'm working towards a career of my dreams. I want to one day live where I'm happy and be surrounded by people I love. I want to work hard to finish college and enjoy the career I will once have. I know God has a plan for me and will lead me in the direction I need to go, there just may be a few bumps and turns along the way. I may sometimes second guess myself, but I know if I believe in myself I can do anything I set my mind to.

XO.

The Lucky One (Trailer Official)

The Lucky One is a book by Nicholas Sparks that I recently read. It is also a movie that I cannot wait to see! The book was amazing, it had me so excited to turn the page to see what happened next. The book is about a Marine  by the name of Logan Thibault who found a photograph of a very beautiful smiling women while on his duty in Iraq. He returns to base, hanging the photo hoping someone will claim it, but when no one does he finds himself carrying the photo around with him. He soon starts having lots of luck and realizes that this picture has been saving his life from life or death events Not knowing this women at the time or who she might be. His best friend Victor starts saying that this photo could be his lucky charm.

Once Logan returns home to Colorado, he finds himself thinking about the girl in the photo often. Not long after he decides to set out on a journey to find this one, using what little details he sees on the photo. He ends up in Hampton, North Carolina where he finds a divorced and single mom named Elizabeth. He is immediately attracted to the beautiful women. Thibault keeps the photo and his luck a secret. Although, the two start to fall in love with each other but the secret of the picture will soon start to tear them apart. This book is a romantic and unforgettable story of love and will truly touch your heart.

This book somehow gives me a feeling of hope that love that you think may not ever happen will. That happiness has a way of taking its sweet time. Sometimes things just take time and patience, and that one day things will fall together no matter how impossible they may seem

"I promised myself that if I made it out, I would find that girl, and thank her for saving my life."
-The Lucky One

Twitter > Facebook

I have recently started to LOVE Twitter! Not saying I don't like Facebook, but I have really started to realize how much I like twitter. I think a lot more people are finding Twitter to be trendy. More and more people who are only on Facebook have started to get Twitter accounts. At first Twitter can be kind of hard to understand or figure out, but once you get the hang of it, it really is enjoyable. The reason I think I like Twitter more is because you don't always see the same things. On Facebook whenever I pull up my news feed I tend to have the same people saying the same things. Twitter may seem that way at first but once you start following more people your Twitter feed will start filling with all kinds of interesting quotes, stuff people are doing and different   hash tags, which is also something different and fun about twitter. Another thing I like about twitter is that its a lot more simple, its not crammed with tons of pictures, status's and so on and so forth. Twitter combines it all in one! Twitter just altogether seems more fun to me. Facebook does has a lot more, like chat, and being to have lots of pictures and keep in touch with lots of friends. Twitter limits you to those things, but does keep you in touch with the friends you decide to follow and can let you say whats on your mind one thing after the next. It may be simple but I think the whole idea is much more fun!

My Top 8 Favorite Shows

1. Grey's Anatomy

Grey's Anatomy is my top pick because it is a very intriguing show. This show is about a group of surgeons who work at Mercy Grace Hospital in Seattle and the trials and different experiences they face. I love this show because I want to one day be a nurse, it just makes me feel like I'm in a hospital working when I watch it and has me excited to work towards being a nurse and working in a hospital. It definitely keeps me on my feet and excited for the next episode to come each
week.

2. Hart of Dixie
Oh man! I really don't know why I have Hart of Dixie second. I guess because I have been watching Grey's Anatomy for years. Hart of Dixie is only on its first season, but really one of my favorite shows. Dr. Zoe Hart moves from New York to Bluebell, a small town in Louisiana to take over her fathers practice. She meets many people, and tries to fit in with the southern ways. At first wanting to pack her bags and head back to New York but soon falls for a married man, becomes close friends with the mayor and along with much others.

3. The Client List
The Client List is a new show I just started watching on Lifetime. Only a few episodes have aired but I have already fallen in love with the show. The Client List was a movie at first and was then made into a series. It is about a women named Riley who has just become a single mother of her two kids because her husband left her, although she still has the support of her family. She also has just started her new job at a massage place called The Rub where a little more than massaging goes on.  The drama only gets more intense each episode!

4. 90210
90210 is now on its fourth season and is only getting better with each episode. The show is about a group of Beverly Hills teenagers who have just graduated high school and now moved on to college. Its a new and different time for them. Coming from a world of privilege and glamour, anything can happen and the drama only gets more suspenseful, with love, lust, and on going friendship.

5. Scandal
The Scandal is a new show on ABC with its first season. It really keeps me on my feet and dying to see the next episode. Secrets are a top notch thing on Scandal. Olivia Pope, Scandals main character knows how to do all the right things to keep public images out of trouble.  She left the White House to open her own Crisis Management firm. With her associates they know how to get the job done. Although, she can't seem to cut ties off with her past. The drama unfolds and each episode will have you drooling for the next.

6. One Tree Hill
Even though One Tree Hill has just completed its final season, it will still always be one of my favorites. It was a show that had been around for years. It was about the close nit town of Tree Hill, with constant changes and how the young cast grew up and built their own life's around the town and how each and everyone  one of them grew. They endured troubles, death, happiness, and many accomplishments. This show will always have a special place in my heart.

7. Make it or Break It
This show is a very empowering show. Make it or Break it is a show about the world of competitive gymnastics and the hard work they put in to it. With constant training over the years, these group of girls are working towards the dreams to one day stand on the podium and the 2012 summer Olympics.

8. Friday Night Lights
Friday Night Lights may have completed its five seasons and not continuing, but I really wish it would. From all the tears to the funny moments, the show has really been one of the best shows I have ever watched. The passion for football, family and helping others was so touching. The trials they went through and endured were so much like everyday life. I loved every bit of the show and am sad to see it is over. The only reason this show is number 8 is because the seasons are over, but it is one of my most favorite ever!

Well..

I am a few exams away from being through with my spring semester. I can honestly say this semester has been one of my hardest yet, although I know I have many more difficult ones to come. I know it will all be worth it in the end. As a college student I have learned a lot, the main concept I have learned is that hard work pays off. In the end I hope it does all pay off, even if I think some of the courses I have to take I may not need or has nothing to do with what I will do in the long run. I have realized that it all adds up and comes together in building the career I have always wanted and am working hard to one day have. In saying this college may not be so bad after all, well once finals week passes and I can finally breath. Then start it all over again next semester!

STOP KONY!

I recently watched a video on the Invisible Children in Africa. This video told what these kids were going through and how tremendously in danger their lives were. These African kids are in danger because of man named Joseph Kony. This man is number one on the World's Worst War Criminals list. The video KONY 2012 is film and campaign by invisible children made to help aim to make Joseph Kony famous, not to celebrate him but to raise support for his arrest and for international justice. Joseph Kony needs to be arrested and brought to justice. He has hurt many children, and are putting the people in Africa through a horrible war. Kids in Africa can be taken at any time of the night and be abducted by Kony and his rebels. They force children to serve as soldiers, mutilate people or become sex slaves, and even kill their parents or each other in order to survive. Kony's rebel group are blamed for tens of thousands of murders over the last 26 years. Kony's rebel group is called the LRA which is the Lords Resistance Army.

The fight to stop Kony 2012! The film KONY 2012 has become an internet sensation. It was created by Invisible Children to make Kony famous, to make sure everyone knows who and what Joseph Kony does. In order for Kony to be arrested, they must find him. In order to find him they need the training and technology. American advisors have been sent in to help with this event. But, if the government does not believe that the people care, the mission will be cancelled. "In order for the people to care, they must know and they will only know if Kony's name is everywhere" (KONY 2012 film). This is only an ongoing fight, and Josephy Kony should be brought to justice! These kids should be brought visible and brought home to their families

Spread this video and help with the fight to bring Kony to justice!

"Life's all about moments of impact, and how they change our life forever." -The Vow

A moment can only take a second, a minute or it can last forever. A person has happy moments, sad moments, terrible moments and those moments one will never forget. A moment can change the way one feels, or how someone else feels, it can change everything. A special moment may never be forgotten and then there are moments that one wishes could be forgotten. Sometimes people have awkward moments, lovely moments or even scary ones. Life is full of moments.

I went to see the vow this past weekend and it really got me thinking about all the moments our life consist of. The moments we will never forgot, the ones that impact and change our lives. The first time a person meets the love of their life, or the moment when someone gets accepted to the college of your dreams, when a person get a special phone call or even just the little moment one spends dancing with someone. Then there's the moments that impact a persons life, that happen in the blink of an eye but yet change ones life and their outlook on life. Anything can happen in a moment. We as people learn to accept and cope with life's fulfilling moments. We live the happy exciting moments and pull through the sad, not so great moments. There are moments we're scared of and some we hope for. It's amazing what a moment can bring.

I live for the special moments, and try to move on from the bad ones. I have moments I cherish and ones I hope for someday. There are moments I would hate to go back to, but there are many moments I miss. So I want to enjoy the happy moments I have and not let the bad ones get me down, because you never know what a changing moment can bring.

Ways to win a girls heart

Since Valentines Day is coming up I thought I would blog about love and how to win a girls heart. Well at least this is how I see it.  I think the main thing is to BE YOURSELF. If you are yourself around a girl, there is no doubt about it you can win her heart. So what if your goofy and do stupid stuff sometimes, as long as you are real and honest with her, she would be crazy not to fall. BE HER FRIEND is always an important way to win her heart, when you just meet a girl and she gives you her number or talks to you, do not just assume that since she gave you her number she wants to go out with you. DON'T come on too strong. So there is no need to ask and aggervate her with in the first time you text her or talk to her, "Can I take you to dinner?" or don't rush into telling her all these things about how you feel when you just met that day. More than likely shes thinking I do not even know you, just give it time. So in saying that just become her friend first, just get to know her before rushing into things. Make her feel like she can be herself around you and not put on that perfect girl act. MAKE HER LAUGH is a major one, if you can make her even giggle or smile, you are definitely closer to winning her heart. MAKE HER FEEL SPECIAL, but not too special.Which does not always mean you have to buy her something, but to just show her some bit of attention, but not too much. As we all know, if you ignore a girl, you are usually the one that is on her mind. Well for me that is. But do not ignore her too much, because eventually she just may move on forget about you. HAVE GOOD HYGIENE is a necessity in getting a girl to do anything with or for you. A good first impression is essential, and smelling well is important including breath! Carry Listerine if that is what it takes. I know sometimes we cannot help it, but that is what gum and Listerine is for! ACT YOUR AGE-grown man status, do not try to act immature, plain and simple. BE CONFIDENT NOT COCKY. There is no need to act like you are bigger and better than others to impress a girl, just show your confident in yourself and she will like you just the way you are. DO NOT BE PUSHY.  Do not push her to do things shes not ready to do, let everything flow with time. Also, DO NOT BE WOMANIZER or a pimp. If you want to win her heart, you cannot be messing around with many other girls and expecting things to just work with one. Do not go for her friend either, because that is just plain stupid. If you want to be a pimp, be a pimp. If you want to win a girls heart, win it! Last but not least, LOVE HER inside and out. Show her you care and be there for her. Let her be able to trust you. Just use your heart, and you will win a heart!

Everyone is different, and every girl may not think the same, but for me I think this pretty much clears it up.
Happy Early Valentines Day!
XOXO

Ever since I was a little kid

I have wanted to be a dolphin trainer. Still to this day I would love to become one. This past summer I had the opportunity to experience a little bit of what it would be like to be a dolphin trainer. It was one of the most amazing experiences of my entire life. While in Mexico on my senior trip I went to Channanuka park where I got to Scuba Dive with a dolphin.I have been Scuba Diving since I was 13 but nothing could compare to diving with a real dolphin.  Being down there with him in his own world was so exciting. It was like nothing else mattered, he followed the signals of what his trainer and I told him to do, as I watched this powerful animal swim around and do amazing tricks. I learned so much being down there with that dolphin. It made me realize how much I really enjoy Scuba Diving and how amazing these animals really are. Just being down there with him made me feel special and nothing can change the way I felt in that moment. They are smart, loving, and they have minds of their own.Writing this blog makes me think how much I really would love to become a dolphin trainer. If I never get to do anything like that again, I will always remember the great experience I had.  That may not be the path I'm going down now but maybe one day I could work towards.
